More than a few fans and sports writers think Dwight Evans deserves a spot in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Evans spent 20 years in the game, 19 of them with the Boston Red Sox. He was not only regarded as one of the best-ever defensive right fielders, with eight Gold Glove Awards to prove it, but the man nicknamed "Dewey" was pretty good with a bat, too, hitting for a career average of .272 with 385 home runs and 1,384 RBI.
