In 1984 two of the New York Yankees best players Don Mattingly and Dave Winfield battled for the American League batting crown. 'Donnie Baseball' won it with an average of .343 to Winfield's .340 just edging Winfield during the last game of the season against the Detroit Tigers. This great color 16x20 photograph has been hand signed by Dave Winfield who added the special inscription 'NY Yankees 81-90.' A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
