This is a official MLB baseball which has been personally autographed by future Hall of Famer Curt Schilling with "01 WS MVP" inscription and authenticated by MLB. He pitched for 20 seasons, starting in 1988 with Baltimore, but had most of his success with the Philadelphia Phillies, Arizona Diamondbacks and Boston Red Sox, having helped each franchise to the World Series. His career record was 216-146 with 3116 career strikeouts. He was the co-MVP along with Randy Johnson in 2001 when Arizona defeated the Yankees and had the memorable "Bloody Sock" performance in 2004 to defeat the Cardinals and help the Red Sox win their first World Series championship since in 86 years.
